& Chocolate pretzels..

Claudio & I have been really busy lately :) Our 5 minutes of free time between both of our jobs, school work and studying have been filled with hour trips to various places for dates :) Hey, a united couple is a bit more important that your economics homework, right? We thought so! We'd like to share a few photos of our great, recent adventures. All of these adventures began with the search for Chocolate covered pretzels. Did you hear that?

I introduced Claudio to these after he insisted that he "Did not like pretzels" and he became, well, obsessed. And yet, we have yet to find any IN STOCK on this lovely island. No costco, no walmart, no foodland, no safeway. We're still looking. If you'd like to donate these delicious treats.. just let us know.

After we couldn't find any chocolate covered pretzels at Walmart, we just looked around the store. They were sold out here. :( 

Claudio was showing me his soccer skills in the middle of the walmart toy section - while wearing a cowboy hat. That was incredibly fun :)

Despues de buscar en Walmart, los encontramos agotados. Entonces Claudio decidio mostrarme sus habilidades de futbol mientras llevar un sombrero de huaso... Fue divertido!

So, we had to make some makeshift chocolate covered pretzels. This was a different day and he still was craving them! I had some melty chocolate chips in our car because it was so hot outside so we dipped some pretzels in if. His answer was basically that this was 'sufficient'.

Entonces, tuvimos que improvisar. Bajamos sticks de pretzel en una bolsa de chips de chocolate. Su respuesta fue algo como.. "es sufficiente..."

We had some nice dinner at a restaurant called Haleiwa Joes  .. It was so delicious. We were "healthy" and got salads but then got some DELICIOUS desserts.. So filling. I got some chocolate molten cake with ice cream and he got banana lumpia with ice cream. Basically indescribable but so delicious!

Comimos la cena a un restaurante llamado "Haleiwa Joes". Salio incredible. Comimos ensalada entonces era saludable pero terminamos con un postre sin descripcion! Riquisimo. 

Now, look at that beautiful flag. Front and center as we walked in to campus today. The flag circle demonstrates the citizens from ever country that we have attending Brigham Young University Hawaii. Beautiful landmark :)

Ah, mira esta bandera. En el lugar querido cuando entramos a la universidad hoy. El circulo de banderas muestra las banderas de cada pais que asiste la universidad aqui. Un lugar señero bonito :)
